It all started with a dream.
I have always been wildly passionate about horses. The sound of their soft breaths, the energy of their heart, the gleam of their eyes, the wind in their manes, they are just magical. There is nothing better than sharing my passion and gifts with horses with other riders who share the same love of horses. That is why I do what I do:
All for the love of horses

When I was a kid, I always dreamed of being a horse trainer. I spent every possible minute at the barn. I grew up training and competing with Arabians in saddleseat, hunter under saddle, and western pleasure at a Regional and National level. When I was 16, I fell in love with the sport of Dressage. I was fortunate to learn classical riding under the legendary Douglas Christiansen and Mary Rose until I left for college. I received my undergraduate degree from The University of Texas in Radio-Television-Film. I then worked full time in Dallas for 5 years working full time to pay for my horse habit. I rehabbed and trained an “unrideable” thoroughbred named Socks with the dreams of getting him into eventing.
When I became pregnant with my daughter in 2017, the Lord put it on my heart to pursue my dreams of becoming a horse trainer. I was so scared to lose the financial stability of a 9-5 job, but the Holy Spirit made it really clear - I needed to take the leap into the calling the Lord had on my life. I started as a full-time trainer in Houston in the spring of 2018 and I have never worked a day since. I am so beyond blessed to do what I love every day.
With such an eclectic background with horses, I enjoy a variety of disciplines: from western pleasure to barrel racing, from hunter/jumpers to eventing, dressage to ranch riding, I love it all. I try my best teach students of any age through encouragement and a heart of humility. I focus my training off of classical dressage, with a balanced independent seat for clear aids. Of course, the well-being and care for the horses is my top priority, as well as the safety of my students. My goal is for each horse and rider to connect as one and enjoy the freedom that brings.
